From Santiago de Chile to La Paz and Lima you will savour the unique atmosphere of the three main capitals of South America.

Day 1: Welcome to Santiago de Chile

Once in Santiago de Chile you will be welcomed by our staff and taken to the hotel. Rest of the day free to start exploring the city on your own or sample the excellent local cuisine and fine wines that the city offers.

Day 2: Discovering Santiago de Chile

After breakfast, you will discover the fascinating history of Santiago de Chile. The Palazzo La Moneda is a majestic building designed by an Italian architect, Joaquin Toesca. Plaza de Armas offers a magnificent view with the cathedral, the Central Post Office and the Museum of Natural Art in the background. Cerro Santa Lucia offers one of the best views of the city.

Day 3: Excursion to the Valley of the Moon

After breakfast, transfer to Santiago airport for the flight to Calama. Arrival and group transfer to San Pedro de Atacama. In the afternoon excursion to the Valley of the Moon, characterized by a lunar desert landscape with unique rock formations.

Day 4: The lagoons of the Avaroa National Reserve

Today you will explore the beauty of the Avaroa National Reserve. We will start with the Laguna Blanca, Laguna Verde and Laguna Colorada. Next to Sol de Mañana (4850 masl), a geothermal area.

Day 5: Among the unique landscapes of the Salar of Uyuni

Heading into Bolivia, you will admire other extraordinary landscapes including the Siloli Desert, famous for the formation of stone trees (Arbol de Piedra) and the Bosque de Piedras, composed of over 4,000 rock formations.

Next, you will visit a wide variety of lakes including Ramaditas, Hedionda and Canapa; along the way you can also see many traditional Andean villages.

Day 6: In the Salar of Uyuni

After breakfast, the tour continues to the Templo de la Luna and the fascinating Train Cemetery. A truly memorable stop on the road to Uyuni!

We will take you to see the extraction and refining of salt in Colchani. Incahuasi located above an ancient volcano with giant cacti will be the last stop before being transferred to the airport for Uyuni-La Paz flight.

Day 7: Among the markets of La Paz

After breakfast, you will discover the cultural side of La Paz. It is the highest capital in the world located at 3640 m asl, a city full of contrasts.

It starts with a visit to the Coca Museum before taking a walk in the Plaza Murillo, where the Presidential Palace and the Cathedral are located. We will then go to the Witch Market. Overnight in La Paz.

Day 8: Arrival at Lake Titicaca

Breakfast and departure by bus to Puno (3827 m asl). Along the way is the pre-Columbian archaeological site of Tiwanaku (optional visit). Arrival in Puno and transfer to the hotel. Overnight in Puno.

Day 9: Uros & Taquile Islands: meeting with local people

Today we will visit the famous Lake Titicaca: the highest navigable lake in the world located at about 4000 m asl.

The excursion begins with a visit to the floating island of Uros. Next, you will discover the island of Taquile. After lunch and a relaxing walk on the hills of the plateau, we will embark again, returning to Puno. Once we arrive at our destination, the evening will be free to relax. Breakfast and lunch included.

Day 10: Traveling to Cusco

After breakfast, departure to Cusco (3399 m asl) by bus. The first stop on the journey will be Pukara, where one of the first civilizations of southern Peru developed. Later stop near the Raya, before the buffet lunch at Sicuani.

Continuation to Raqchi to visit the Inca site “Temple of Wiracocha”. Finally, visit the Church of Andahuaylillas whose walls are covered with a large number of frescoes and ceilings with decorative elements. Arrival in Cusco and transfer to the hotel.

Day 11: Sacred Valley and Salinas of Maras

After breakfast, the first stop of the day will be at the Inca ruins of Pisaq. Following the local market of Pisaq famous for its handicraft and the impressive Salinas de Maras. Lunch in Urubamba. In the afternoon visit of the fortress and the citadel of Ollantaytambo. From here take the train to Aguas Calientes (2040 m asl). Arrival at the hotel.

Day 12: Visit of Macchu Picchu

After breakfast, the shuttle bus will take you to Machu Picchu (2,490 m). Visit the majestic ruins of “the lost city of the Incas”.

The complex is divided into two large areas: the agricultural area formed by the typical Inca terraces and the urban area dedicated to daily, civil and religious activities. Return to Aguas Calientes and departure by train to Ollantaytambo station. Private Transfer Ollantaytambo-Cusco and hotel accommodation.

Day 13: Discovering Cusco and arriving in the capital of Peru

After breakfast, visit the Incas ruins located around the city of Cusco: Puca Pucara, Tambomachay, Kenko and finally the spectacular Sacsayhuaman Fortress. Return to the city to finish with visits to the Temple of the Sun or Koricancha and the San Blas quarter. In the afternoon transfer to the airport for the Cusco-Lima flight.
